Silver Minings: Raiders add J.J. McCarthy and build through trenches in recent mock draft

In a recent mock draft by NFL.com's Chad Reuter, the Las Vegas Raiders were predicted to make some interesting moves. Reuter had the Chicago Bears trading up to grab wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., which resulted in the Raiders' AFC West rival Denver Broncos moving up to select North Carolina's Drake Maye. Reuter also suggested that the Raiders could consider selecting quarterback J.J. McCarthy if they believe Aidan O'Connell is better suited as a backup. Additionally, the Raiders have a need for defensive tackle help and offensive linemen, with Dylan Parham potentially moving to center and the team seeking two starting guards. Layden Robinson, an offensive lineman from Texas A&M, was mentioned as a potential option, although some analysts have given him a Day 3 grade.
