Raiders coaching staff 2024: Get to know Andre Carter

The Las Vegas Raiders are adding Andre Carter to their coaching staff as a pass-rush specialist coach. Carter, 44 years old, previously served as the defensive line coach at LSU in 2021. As a player, Carter had a successful career in the NFL from 2001-2013, playing for the 49ers, Washington, New England, and the Raiders. He recorded 80.5 career sacks and was a former No. 7 overall pick from Cal. Carter's coaching experience includes stints at Cal, Miami Dolphins, and the New York Jets. He will join other former NFL players, Gerald Alexander and Ricky Manning, as part of the new coaching staff under head coach Antonio Pierce, who is also an ex-NFL player.
