The Los Angeles Rams are unlikely to use the franchise tag this offseason. They haven't used it since 2018 and don't have any pending free agents worth the high cost. Guard Kevin Dotson is their top free agent, but the $19.885 million tag price is too expensive for a guard. Other pending free agents like Ahkello Witherspoon and John Johnson are also not worth the tag cost. The Rams will either let their free agents hit the market or sign them to new contracts. The franchise tag is not a realistic option for Los Angeles this year.
