CBS Sports expects Rams to take a major leap forward in 2024

The Los Angeles Rams are expected to make a major leap forward in the 2024 NFL season, according to CBS Sports. Analyst Jeff Kerr believes that the Rams, along with the Texans, Bengals, Packers, and Colts, will be among the teams to watch next year. Despite tough competition in the NFC West, with the reigning conference champs, the 49ers, in the same division, the Rams are predicted to compete for the division title. The Rams had a successful 2023 season, improving from a 5-12 record to finishing 10-7. Their strong performance was attributed to a revamped defensive line and successful draft picks, including Puka Nacua. The team's offense also improved significantly in the second half of the season, averaging higher points and yards compared to the first half. If quarterback Matthew Stafford stays healthy, the Rams have a good chance of making a deep playoff run and potentially competing for the NFC Championship.
