Seahawks hiring Rams' Jake Peetz as pass game coordinator

The Seattle Seahawks have hired Jake Peetz, formerly of the Los Angeles Rams, as their pass game coordinator. Peetz was previously an offensive assistant and then a pass game specialist for the Rams. This promotion is not considered a lateral move, so the Rams were unable to block the hire. Peetz was also a candidate for the offensive coordinator position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Before joining the Rams, he served as LSU's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Peetz has had previous coaching experience with the Jaguars, Alabama, Redskins, Raiders, and Panthers.
