The Los Angeles Rams are looking for more stability at the quarterback position behind Matthew Stafford. One potential option they are considering is taking a shot on Zach Wilson, who may be available after a disappointing season with the New York Jets. The Rams have two coaches on their staff, offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur and offensive assistant Rob Calabrese, who know Wilson well from their time with the Jets. The Rams have a history of giving reclamation projects a chance, and Wilson could be next in line. It's unlikely that the Rams would have to give up much in a trade for Wilson, and there's a possibility the Jets could eat some of his contract. The safer option would be to re-sign Carson Wentz as Stafford's backup, but if the coaches see potential in Wilson, he could be a player to watch.
