Quentin Lake, a backup safety for the Rams, saw his role evolve throughout the season. He started as a dime linebacker and slot defender, but as the season progressed, he played more snaps and settled into the nickel role covering the slot. Lake enjoyed playing multiple positions and appreciated the trust the coaching staff had in him. He compared his role to Kyle Hamilton's in the Ravens defense. Lake's stock is rising, and he is expected to have a significant role in the secondary next season.
