Former Ravens DC Mike Macdonald loses Asst. Coach of the Year to Browns DC Jim Schwartz

Former Ravens Defensive Coordinator, Mike Macdonald, lost the Assistant Coach of the Year award to Cleveland Browns Defensive Coordinator, Jim Schwartz. Despite leading the NFL's best defense, Macdonald did not receive any personal hardware from the Associated Press and the NFL. The Browns, who ranked second in DVOA on defense and 28th on offense, will be celebrating their first award, with defensive end Myles Garrett also up for Defensive Player of the Year and Head Coach Kevin Stefanski up for Coach of the Year.
