New Orleans Saints, Verizon partner to host 'Truth be Told: From the Stacks to the Streets' exhibition and community discussion

The New Orleans Saints and Verizon are teaming up with the Amistad Research Center to host an exhibition and community discussion called "Truth Be Told: From the Stacks to the Streets." The event, taking place on February 23, 2024, aims to highlight the narratives and voices of Black individuals, explore the connection between sports and civil rights, and showcase the Amistad Research Center's collection. Special guest Tyrann Mathieu will be present to contribute to the dialogue. The event is expected to attract around 150 attendees, including community members, students, and VIP guests.
