The HBCU Legacy Bowl Career Fair is providing HBCU students with opportunities to network with over 100 companies. The fair, which is open to HBCU juniors, seniors, and recent graduates, has over 900 pre-registered students from 56 different schools. The event aims to connect students with job opportunities and has resulted in students finding jobs in the past. The career fair is also part of a competition between three New Orleans-based HBCU schools. Dillard University currently has the most pre-registered students, putting them in the lead for the Legacy Cup. The fair is seen as important for players as well, offering them a chance to be seen by NFL teams. The HBCU Legacy Bowl practices have also begun, with two teams alternating practice slots each day.
