The Seattle Seahawks have hired Aden Durde as their new defensive coordinator. Durde, who previously served as the defensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys, is the first British-born coach to hold a full-time position in the NFL. During his time with the Cowboys, the team's defensive line recorded the third-highest number of sacks in the NFC and ranked first in pass-rush win rate and pressure rate. Durde also played linebacker in NFL Europe and was part of the league's International Player Pathway Program, which aims to provide opportunities for players from overseas.
