Seattle Seahawks fans have been discussing the possibility of trading star wide receiver DK Metcalf, but former Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright believes it would be "insanity" to let him go. Wright points out that without Metcalf, the Seahawks' receiving group would not be as strong, and he doesn't believe they could get a first-round pick in return for him. Additionally, the upcoming NFL Draft has a deep pool of talented receivers, which could further diminish Metcalf's trade value. Wright also mentions that Metcalf will be playing for a new head coach, Mike Macdonald, in the 2024 season, and he doesn't think Metcalf's physical play will be an issue under the new leadership.
