Former NFL receiver Michael Bumpus believes that new Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb brings a lot to the running game. While Grubb's offense at the University of Washington was known for its passing attack, Bumpus points out that the Huskies also utilized counter looks and misdirection plays in the run game. He also praises Grubb for running the same types of plays out of different formations, creating space and involving tight ends and offensive linemen. Bumpus concludes that Grubb's ability to dress up the run game is impressive and worth watching.
