How role of Seattle Seahawks' Schneider changes with new title

Seattle Seahawks general manager, John Schneider, has been given a new title of president of football operations/general manager. The change in title signifies that the coaches now report to Schneider, whereas before they reported to head coach Pete Carroll. This change in structure occurred after Carroll's departure and Schneider's move into the president of football operations role. The John Schneider Show, a weekly radio show, will continue with Schneider as the host.
