Big Ray: Why Seattle Seahawks should keep DK; O-line thoughts

Former NFL offensive lineman and current Seahawks Radio Network analyst Ray Roberts believes that the Seattle Seahawks should not trade wide receiver DK Metcalf. Roberts thinks that Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who was a rookie in 2023, is not ready to be the number one receiver. Roberts also believes that the physical style of football that new head coach Mike Macdonald wants to implement aligns well with Metcalf's playing style. Roberts is optimistic about the potential of Seahawks offensive linemen Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas, but has concerns about Lucas' knee injury. In terms of the offensive line market this offseason, Roberts notes that there aren't many top-quality guards and centers available in free agency. The Seahawks may have to rely on their current roster and the draft to address the offensive line.
