Former NFL receiver Michael Bumpus discussed what a successful 2024 season would look like for the Seattle Seahawks on the Bump and Stacy show. Bumpus believes that for the Seahawks to succeed, their defense needs to be in the top half of the league in overall stats, while the offense needs to be in the top 10. He also mentioned the importance of competing for the division title, considering the strength of the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. Bumpus emphasized the need for the defense to improve fundamentally and wrap up tackles. He expressed confidence in new defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald's ability to make this happen. Offensively, Bumpus believes the Seahawks have the weapons and quarterback to be a top-10 unit under new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. While Bumpus acknowledged that a Super Bowl may be a stretch for the team at this point, he hopes to see improvement and a potential playoff appearance.
