Mason Rudolph, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, wants a fresh start with a new team in 2024. However, his options may be limited as he doesn't have control over where he goes. Steelers insider, Brooke Pryor, believes the Steelers would like to bring Rudolph back, but questions how he fits in the new system under Arthur Smith, which requires a more mobile quarterback. Rudolph may also still feel the sting of being ranked third in the pecking order after outperforming other quarterbacks in a supposed open competition. With uncertainty at the quarterback position for the Steelers, Rudolph will test free agency for the second time. However, leaving Pittsburgh may not guarantee a better situation for him. Despite this, Rudolph may choose to return to the familiarity of the Steelers.
