Some Pittsburgh Steelers players have expressed their preference for Mason Rudolph to be the starting quarterback in 2024. According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Rudolph has the support of his teammates, with some players even "politicking" for him to be the starter. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson has been particularly vocal about his support for Rudolph. The Steelers are reportedly considering either Kenny Pickett or Rudolph as their starting quarterback next season, rather than seeking outside candidates. The final decision on Rudolph's future will be made during the legal-tampering period beginning on March 11.
