Now, the Steelers have tight end Darnell Washington, who could potentially undergo a similar position change. Washington, a formidable run blocker, was drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. With offensive tackle Broderick Jones already in the starting lineup, Washington's switch could bolster the team's offensive line. While it may not happen in a single offseason, the idea of Washington becoming an offensive tackle is intriguing.
