Texans retain safeties coach Stephen Adegoke

Texans safeties coach Stephen Adegoke will reportedly return to the team despite accepting a position with the University of Michigan. This marks the fourth position coach or coordinator that head coach DeMeco Ryans has been able to retain despite offers from other organizations. Offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson, and assistant offensive line coach Cole Popovich also came back. Adegoke joined Ryans' staff this season after spending the previous season with him on the San Francisco 49ers staff. He had previously worked as a graduate assistant for Michigan and Florida. It is unclear if Adegoke was given a new contract.
