Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has his sights set on winning a Lombardi Trophy in his career, but he won't even look at the one that will be presented in Super Bowl LVIII. Despite coming up short in his rookie season, Stroud is already looking ahead to next year. He wants to put his eyes on the trophy he wants to win. Stroud had a strong rookie season, leading the NFL in passing yards per game and having the lowest interception rate among quarterbacks who played at least 10 games. The Texans offense looked impressive, especially in their wild card win over the Cleveland Browns. However, returning to the playoffs won't be easy with the competitiveness of the AFC South. The Texans will need to make smart moves this offseason to maintain their core and improve areas of need. Regardless, Stroud is focused on winning the Lombardi Trophy next year.
