Texans HC DeMeco Ryans Got Jobbed Out of Coach of the Year

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans did not win the AP Coach of the Year award, despite his impressive accomplishments in his first year. The award went to Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. Ryans led the Texans to win the AFC South, create a winning culture, and bring hope to the fan base. However, Stefanski received more first-place votes. Some questionable votes for non-finalist coaches affected the outcome. Ryans was deemed deserving of the award and will aim to prove it next year with a Super Bowl win.
