Jim Schwartz, the defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, was named the AP Assistant Coach of the Year at NFL Honors. Before the event, Schwartz thanked the Titans for allowing him to contribute at his own pace when he joined them in 2021 as a Senior Defensive Assistant. He also praised Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk for her impact on the franchise. Schwartz mentioned that he had some health issues and needed multiple operations, but working with the Titans helped him get healthy and rejuvenated. He also expressed his love for Nashville, where his family has a special connection.
