The Cincinnati Bengals have released quarterback AJ McCarron, leaving him in search of a new team. McCarron, a former fifth-round draft pick, had success as a backup for the Bengals before leaving in free agency. He has played for multiple teams, most recently the Houston Texans in 2020. In 2021, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons but suffered a season-ending injury. McCarron played in 2023 with the St. Louis Battlehawks, with a 6-3 record as a starter. He completed 68.8% of his passes for 2,150 yards and 24 touchdowns. Good luck to McCarron in his future endeavors!
