Bengals 2023 Position Review: Running Backs

The Cincinnati Bengals running backs had a mixed season in 2023. Joe Mixon faced some off-field incidents but still performed well on the field, surpassing 1,000 rushing yards and moving up the team's all-time rushing rankings. The Bengals also drafted Chase Brown, who showed promise before getting injured but returned later in the season. The run game had potential but wasn't fully utilized. It's uncertain if the Bengals will part ways with Mixon, but if he returns, Brown is expected to have a larger role in 2024. Other additions may be made, especially for pass protection, but for now, Mixon and Brown are the primary ball carriers.
