Mike Zimmer is back on an NFL sideline

Former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is back on an NFL sideline. The Dallas Cowboys are expected to hire Zimmer as their defensive coordinator, filling the vacancy left by Dan Quinn. Zimmer had previously coached in Dallas from 1994-2006. He served as the head coach of the Vikings for eight seasons, reaching the playoffs three times. Zimmer is known for his defensive prowess and is the third-winningest coach in Vikings history. He will face his former team in the 2025 season. Congratulations to Zimmer on his return to coaching.
