10 York-Adams football seniors sign college commitments at AFL

On National Signing Day for the Class of 2026, ten senior football players from York and Adams County committed to college programs, realizing their aspirations to play at the collegiate level. The signing event took place at the Accountability for Life (AFL) building in York, Pennsylvania, where players, their families, and coaches gathered to celebrate.

Trevor Lee, a lineman from York High, committed to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, emphasizing the payoff of their rigorous training. Oji Numa, a center from Northeastern, initially pledged to East Stroudsburg but switched to Albany after receiving interest from the Division I FCS program. Numa highlighted the importance of connections made through the recruiting process.

Colten Koons from Red Lion committed to Misericordia and praised the AFL's College Athletic Planning (CAP) program for aiding in his recruitment journey. Koons described the camaraderie among the players as a "brotherhood," united in their goal of advancing to college athletics.
