Alabama QB Ty Simpson reportedly entering 2026 NFL Draft

Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old redshirt junior announced his decision after completing his first full season as a starter for the Crimson Tide. In the 2025 season, Simpson threw for 3,567 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions over 15 games, leading Alabama to an 11-4 record and a College Football Playoff quarterfinal appearance. Alabama's season ended with a 38-3 loss to Indiana at the Rose Bowl, where Simpson sustained a cracked rib.

Simpson, who began his career at Alabama in 2022, played under Nick Saban and was a backup to Bryce Young and Jalen Milroe before becoming the starting quarterback.
