Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award: Budda Baker

Cardinals safety Budda Baker was awarded the 2025 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award during the NFL Honors ceremony. The award recognizes an NFL player who exemplifies sportsmanship qualities such as fair play, respect, and integrity. This is the third year Baker was a finalist for the award, which honors the legacy of Art Rooney, Sr., the late founding owner of the Steelers. Baker is the second Cardinals player to receive this accolade, following Larry Fitzgerald in 2014. The award is determined by a vote from current NFL players, and Baker will receive a $25,000 donation from the NFL Foundation to a charity of his choice. Other finalists included players from both the NFC and AFC, such as Lavonte David, Demario Davis, and DeForest Buckner.
