Bears LB T.J. Edwards carted with ankle injury as Packers take 14-3 lead

Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards sustained an injury with 11:09 remaining in the first half against the Packers. Medical staff placed Edwards's left leg in a vacuum splint and transported him to the X-ray room. The injury occurred without contact as Edwards attempted to change direction on the Soldier Field turf. D'Marco Jackson replaced Edwards on the field. The Bears were already without backup linebackers Noah Sewell and Amen Ogbongbemiga. Edwards is currently listed as doubtful to return due to an ankle injury.

Previously, Edwards missed six games in the regular season because of hand and hamstring injuries. During the game, Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jayden Reed, following an earlier 7-yard touchdown to Christian Watson. Love is 7-of-9 for 116 yards with two touchdowns, contributing to Green Bay's 14-3 lead.
