Bills rule out starting offensive tackles Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown

The Buffalo Bills will start backup players at both offensive tackle positions against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Head coach Sean McDermott announced that left tackle Dion Dawkins and right tackle Spencer Brown are unavailable due to injuries. Dawkins is sidelined with a concussion, while Brown is dealing with a shoulder injury. Ryan Van Demark is expected to start at one tackle position, with Tylan Grable possibly filling the other if activated from injured reserve.

Additionally, linebacker Terrel Bernard and wide receiver Curtis Samuel will miss the game due to elbow injuries, with Samuel also suffering from a knee issue. The team is monitoring the status of wide receiver Josh Palmer, who has an ankle injury, and tight end Dalton Kincaid, who is dealing with a hamstring issue. Both players are scheduled for limited practice sessions on Friday.
