Browns to interview OC Tommy Rees for head coach on Thursday

The Cleveland Browns are set to interview their offensive coordinator, Tommy Rees, for the head coaching position on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Rees, 33, was promoted to offensive coordinator last offseason after serving as the tight ends coach in 2024. His previous experience includes roles as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at both Alabama and Notre Dame. Recently, Rees has drawn interest from college programs, with interviews reportedly conducted by Penn State and Michigan. Browns General Manager Andrew Berry acknowledged Rees as a talented coordinator held in high regard across both college football and the NFL. Cleveland has also requested interviews with Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken and Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde for their head coaching vacancy.
