Buccaneers to interview Dan Pitcher for offensive coordinator

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher for their offensive coordinator position on Todd Bowles' staff. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that this interview is scheduled for this week. Although the move would be lateral, the Bengals are permitting Pitcher to pursue the opportunity, as he currently does not have play-calling responsibilities; those are handled by Bengals head coach Zac Taylor. Pitcher has served as the Bengals' offensive coordinator for the past two seasons and has been with the team since 2016. The Buccaneers have also interviewed several other candidates for the position, including Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, former Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka, and others.
