BYU wide receiver Parker Kingston has been arrested and charged with first-degree felony rape following a year-long investigation. Kingston, 21, is accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman on February 23, 2025, in St. George, Utah. The St. George Police Department conducted an investigation, gathering digital and forensic evidence and conducting interviews before the case was handed over to the Washington County Attorney’s Office.

Kingston is currently being held without bail and is scheduled for a court appearance on Friday. The Washington County Attorney’s Office emphasized the seriousness with which they handle sexual assault allegations, acknowledging the assistance from medical professionals and law enforcement in the investigation.

BYU issued a statement acknowledging Kingston's arrest and stated their intention to cooperate with law enforcement, citing privacy laws as the reason for withholding further comment. Kingston was a key player for the Cougars, recording 67 receptions, 928 yards, and five touchdowns during the previous season.
