Cardinals release RB Michael Carter, put DL Walter Nolen on PUP list

The Arizona Cardinals have made significant roster changes as they finalize their team for the upcoming season. Running back Michael Carter has been released, along with DeeJay Dallas. The team's current running backs include James Conner, Trey Benson, Emari Demercado, and Bam Knight. First-round pick Walter Nolen will remain on the physically unable to perform list and will miss at least the first four games. Joining him on the list are linebacker BJ Ojulari and defensive lineman Bilal Nichols, while guard Will Hernandez has been activated.
