Cardinals request to interview Patriots passing game coordinator Thomas Brown

The Arizona Cardinals have requested an interview with Thomas Brown, currently the New England Patriots' passing game coordinator, for their head coaching position. Brown, who joined the Patriots' staff following Mike Vrabel's hiring last offseason, has previously served as the interim head coach for the Chicago Bears, where he achieved a 1-4 record after taking over from Matt Eberflus. His coaching career began at the collegiate level, and he joined the Los Angeles Rams in 2020 as a running backs coach, later becoming the assistant head coach in 2021. In 2023, Brown was the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. The Cardinals are also considering 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver for their head coach vacancy.
