Chargers block OC Kellen Moore from interviewing with Bears

In his first year with the Chargers, Moore had a strong start but faced challenges with injuries to key players and a decline in the ground game. Justin Herbert also missed the final four games of the season due to injury. The Chargers view continuity as important for Herbert, who is already on his third offensive coordinator in four seasons. As for Ficken, the Chargers' special teams unit has improved significantly under his leadership, going from one of the worst in the league to a top-10 unit over the past two seasons.
