Chargers complete interview with QBs coach Shane Day for OC job

The Los Angeles Chargers have interviewed quarterbacks coach Shane Day for their vacant offensive coordinator position. Additionally, the team has considered passing game coordinator Marcus Brady for the role. Shane Day, who has extensive experience in the NFL but has not yet served as an offensive coordinator, previously worked with the Bears, 49ers, and Chargers in various coaching capacities, including quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. Day has coached notable quarterbacks such as Jay Cutler, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Justin Herbert. His coaching background also includes roles as an offensive line coach with Washington and tight ends coach with Miami. In 2023, Day served as a senior offensive assistant for the Houston Texans.
