Chargers interview Brian Callahan for offensive coordinator

Callahan, previously the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, was dismissed after a 1-5 start this season and held a 4-19 record during his tenure. Prior to his role with the Titans, Callahan served as the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals. The Chargers are seeking a replacement for Greg Roman, who was fired earlier this week. They have already interviewed their passing game coordinator, Marcus Brady, and are considering more candidates. Head coach Jim Harbaugh stated the search aims to "stimulate a new direction" following the team's recent offensive struggles against the New England Patriots. Callahan has also interviewed for the offensive coordinator role with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
