College football programs loses 41 players to transfer portal

The January transfer portal window has seen unprecedented activity in college football, with significant player turnover following midseason firings and coaching changes. Arkansas is among the most affected programs, facing a major exodus after a disappointing 2–10 season and the firing of head coach Sam Pittman.

Since the season concluded and the portal window opened, 41 Arkansas players have entered the transfer portal, including notable offensive and defensive contributors. Key departures include former top recruit Keyshawn Blackstock, offensive tackle E’Marion Harris, and defensive lineman Ian Geffrard. The Razorbacks also lost depth at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver positions.
