College football team fires head coach after embarrassing 21-point loss

The California Golden Bears have fired head coach Justin Wilcox following a 31-10 loss to Stanford, which left the team with a 6-5 record. Wilcox, who had been with Cal since 2017, compiled a 48-55 record over nine seasons, making four bowl appearances with one win. Cal will pay Wilcox a $10.9 million buyout.
