College football teams in Iowa host playoff games during snowstorm

Grand View University and Wartburg College faced significant challenges on Saturday as heavy snowfall impacted their football games. In Waverly, Wartburg College played against Wheaton College from Illinois, where Wheaton secured a narrow 28-24 victory over Wartburg. Meanwhile, Grand View University hosted the University of Saint Francis from Indiana at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines. The defending national champions, Grand View, triumphed with a decisive 62-20 win. The state of Iowa remained under a winter storm warning, affecting conditions throughout the region.
