College football's final regular season day will set championship matchups in Big Ten, ACC, SEC

The final day of the college football regular season is set to determine conference championship matchups and influence postseason rankings across various leagues.

In the ACC, No. 17 Virginia faces Virginia Tech and No. 25 SMU meets Cal, with both teams needing wins to advance to the conference championship on December 6 in Charlotte, North Carolina. No. 24 Pitt can qualify with a win over Miami and a loss by either Virginia or SMU. Miami, ranked No. 13, requires a win and significant help to reach the title game.

The Big 12 Championship is already decided, with No. 7 Texas Tech set to face No. 11 BYU on December 6 in Arlington, Texas. Texas Tech won the previous matchup 29-7.

In the Big Ten, a victory by No. 1 Ohio State over No. 15 Michigan would secure a championship game against No. 2 Indiana. If Michigan wins and No. 5 Oregon loses to Washington,
