Dolphins interviewed Klint Kubiak on Saturday

The Miami Dolphins have appointed Jon-Eric Sullivan as their new General Manager. Following this decision, the team has accelerated its search for a new head coach, conducting an interview with Seahawks offensive assistant Klint Kubiak on Saturday. This move comes after the Dolphins dismissed former head coach Mike McDaniel on Thursday. Kubiak, who is in demand, also interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons and has been in discussions with the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders. Any further interviews with Kubiak must be completed by the end of the wild card round, as NFL rules dictate that teams must wait until the Seahawks are eliminated or the period between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl to continue discussions. As of now, the Dolphins have not conducted any additional interviews, but Sullivan's hiring is expected to expedite the process.
