Dolphins request interview with Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander

The Miami Dolphins have expanded their search for a new General Manager by requesting an interview with Chad Alexander, the current assistant GM of the Los Angeles Chargers, as reported by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Alexander, who joined the Chargers alongside head coach John Harbaugh and GM Joe Hortiz in 2024, previously served as the Jets' director of player personnel and spent 20 years with the Baltimore Ravens. The Dolphins have also sought interviews with several other candidates, including 49ers' Tariq Ahmad and RJ Gillen, Eagles' Alec Halaby, Rams' John McKay, Packers' Jon-Eric Sullivan, and 49ers' Josh Williams. Additionally, interim GM Champ Kelly is anticipated to be part of the interview process.
