Falcons complete interview with Jeff Hafley

Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley has completed an interview with the Atlanta Falcons as part of the ongoing head coaching cycle. Hafley, who has been with the Packers for the past two years, has also interviewed with the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans. Additionally, the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, and Pittsburgh Steelers have shown interest in him. During his tenure with the Packers, the team ranked sixth and 11th in points allowed. Prior to joining Green Bay, Hafley served as the head coach at Boston College, where Falcons president of football operations, Matt Ryan, is an alumnus. The Falcons are also considering several other candidates for their head coaching position, including former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
