Falcons complete interviews with Klint Kubiak, Anthony Weaver for their head coaching vacancy

The Atlanta Falcons have conducted interviews with Klint Kubiak and Anthony Weaver for the team's head coach position. Kubiak recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks in 2025 and held the same role with the New Orleans Saints in 2024. His previous experience includes working as an offensive passing game specialist for the San Francisco 49ers in 2023 and as an offensive passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Denver Broncos in 2022. Kubiak also held various coaching roles with the Minnesota Vikings and began his NFL coaching career with the Vikings and Broncos.

Anthony Weaver has been the defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins for the past two seasons (2024-25). He was previously the assistant head coach/defensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens from 2022-23 and held the position of run game coordinator/defensive line coach in 2021.
