FSU hires back Gabe Fertitta to football staff

Florida State has rehired Gabe Fertitta as the Director of Football Strategy and Offensive Assistant Coach. Fertitta rejoins the Seminoles after a stint at Nicholls State, where he served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Previously, he spent three seasons with Florida State under head coach Mike Norvell, working as an analyst with the offensive line. Fertitta also temporarily filled the role of interim offensive line coach at FSU when former coach Alex Atkins was suspended for a game due to NCAA violations. Fertitta's coaching background includes a position at Louisville as a quality control assistant and head coaching experience at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His return to FSU is part of the team's efforts to strengthen their coaching staff.
