Full Slate of Entertainment Announced for 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship

The College Football Playoff (CFP) has announced the pregame entertainment lineup for the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship, scheduled for January 19 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Jamal Roberts, the winner of Season 23 of American Idol, will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the game. His performance will feature an arrangement by Adam Blackstone, and will be accompanied by a Joint Armed Forces Color Guard and a large American flag display.

The anthem ceremony will include video feeds of U.S. troops stationed overseas and a flyover from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Miami. Additionally, members of the Florida Memorial University Ambassador Chorale will perform "America the Beautiful," with Brianna Therve and Maria Pernalete providing American Sign Language interpretations.

The CFP Foundation's Extra Yard for Teachers initiative will honor the 2025 Teacher of the Year from each U.S. state and territory during the pregame celebration. Medal of Honor Recipient
