Georgia football targeting Oregon transfer QB

The Georgia Bulldogs recently faced a setback when five-star quarterback recruit Jared Curtis withdrew his commitment just before the early signing period in December. Despite efforts, head coach Kirby Smart has not secured a replacement quarterback recruit. The Bulldogs have been relatively inactive in the transfer portal, particularly for quarterbacks. However, Georgia has emerged as a potential destination for Bryson Beaver, a transfer quarterback from the Oregon Ducks.

Beaver entered the transfer portal after initially signing with Oregon, likely reconsidering after the Ducks retained starter Dante Moore and acquired Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola. A four-star recruit from Vista Murrieta High School in California, Beaver was ranked as the No. 12 quarterback nationally and the No. 19 recruit in California for the class of 2026. He is also considering the Kentucky Wildcats, potentially reuniting with former Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein.
